Rev. John
G. Lake founded the Apostolic Faith Mission of South Africa. From its
inception in 1908 it reaches all race groups within and beyond the borders
of South Africa. The mission of the church is to glorify God; to cater
for the whole needs of the whole man and to proclaim the Good News of
the The A.F.M. of Tongaat, situated at 33 High Street opened its doors in 1965. Despite the apartheid era the church embraced all race groups. Today the church has a multi-racial congregation that worships God in unity of heart. |
